My dad started and owned a small earthworks business, which he ran from a portakabin in Stockport. I spent weekends in the mud with his crew of dozer drivers, engineers, and mechanics. Their hard work paid for my amazing education, which made me who I am today.

Since then, I’ve had a successful career as a small business operator: I’ve grown a small airline from scratch, launched a consumer brand in 15 countries, and doubled the size of an old-fashioned healthcare company by injecting AI.

Along the way, I picked up an MBA from Stanford, learned to fly, and mastered tricks of the trade from brilliant, accomplished teammates in Greece, China, and America.
